Abstract

This study aims to describe the urgency of nutritional intake, provision of healthy food and a healthy and clean lifestyle in the context of healthy toddler stunting. The potential for the development and growth of children under five year old is influenced by several supporting factors, including the provision of nutrition through foods that contain balanced nutrients and parenting styles. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The method used in this research is the literature study method. The source of the data collected in this study came from journals or other relevant sources and the latest data on nutritional status and stunting that support this literature review. Data collection techniques in library research are carried out by reading, taking notes, and studying secondary data sources, namely research literature studies that are relevant to the research problem under study. Data analysis used in this study is data analysis developed by Miles and Huberman, using three techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.

The results showed that providing additional healthy food for early childhood, balanced and healthy nutrition and proper parenting styles from parents can help improve children's nutritional status and overcome malnutrition or stunting that occurs in the toddler ages. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that providing healthy food, balanced and healthy nutritional intake and clean and healthy lifestyle for early childhood can help improve or restore children's nutritional status.
