Struktur Argumentasi dalam Kolom Opini Surat Kabar Pos Kupang Versi Daring Edisi 2022

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the argumentation structure in the opinion column of the online version of the 2022 edition of the Pos Kupang newspaper. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach.The data in this study are in the form of sentences, phrases, and words. The data source in this study is the opinion column published in the online version of the Pos Kupang newspaper in the 2022 edition. The data collection method uses the documentation method with online search techniques, while the data analysis technique includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the dominant argument formation pattern used was the data-statement-assurance-supporting-description modality pattern.
