REVIEW: EVALUASI PEMANFAATAN PUPUK KANDANG LIMBAH KOTORAN BABI BERBASIS ZERO WASTE TERHADAP LAHAN PERTANIAN

Abstract

The increase in the population of pigs in Manggarai district will be followed by increase in the amount of feces produced, and this has not been fully utilized by the community. Most people have pigs in every house only allow solid livestock manure (feces) to be disposed of without being reused. There has processing of solid waste (feces) into fertilizer but it has not processed optimally and has not worked out properly. The pig livestock commodity raised by the community every day produces solid manure of value as waste or as fertilizer. The lack of knowledge that the community has regarding the concept of zero waste in processing livestock manure (feces). Livestock manure is left without treatment, it will generate methane gas which will cause environmental pollution, global warming, and disrupt the health of the human body. Livestock manure which is used as fertilizer contains N, P, K are good for soil fertility. It is good when applied to soil and agricultural land.
