Production Performance And Agro-Industrial Development Strategy Of Gunung Kelir Coffee Sirap Hamlet, Jambu District

Abstract

Coffee productivity in Jambu District is the second highest coffee productivity in Semarang Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine production performance and the priority of the agro-industrial development strategy for coffee in Gunung Kelir, Sirap Hamlet, Jambu District. This research uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The method of determining the location of the study was determined by the purposive sampling method. The data analysis method uses Production Performance, IFAS, EFAS, SWOT, and QSPM analysis. The results of research on production performance for capacity, quality, delivery speed, and flexibility in the good category, while for productivity is not optimal. Based on the SWOT diagram analysis the position of the coffee agro-industry is in quadrant I (aggressive strategy). Based on the QSPM analysis, a development strategy for the agro-industry of Gunung Kelir coffee, is a market expansion strategy.
