UPAYA PENERAPAN TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT (TQM) DALAM SISTEM MANAJEMEN PERENCANAAN KEPALA SEKOLAH
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in the Principal Planning management system at SMP Negeri 11 Lambaleda. This study uses a qualitative approach design. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentary studies. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions or data verification and checking the validity of the data using data triangulation techniques. The findings show that: 1.) School program planning which includes the formulation of the school's vision, mission and goals as well as school work plans consisting of 12 programs has been implemented; 2.) The work plan for the education sector has been prepared in accordance with the duties and obligations of teaching staff and education staff as stated in the school guideline document and the school organizational structure that has been programmed; 3.) The school principal has supervised and evaluated the entire process of activities according to the school's work program and has prepared a school development plan document; and 4.) The principal along with the staff and the teacher council have built a management information system to support the implementation of a quality culture in all aspects, both physical and non-physical.
