Pendidikan Liberal Arts Dalam Selubung Teknologi Digital
Abstract
This paper aims to stimulate activists and education practitioners to think of digital humanities education models or liberal arts education. Humanities education not only uses digital technology as tools but more than that, namely, in and through the use of technological tools during the humanities education process, the truth exposes itself, students and educators uncover each other self and develop mutual understanding attitudes. This article is qualitative research using the literary review method. This study's results are in the form of a theoretical study of liberal arts education using digital technology. The urgency of digital technology in liberal arts education encourages educators and students to think of digital technology, not merely as an “instrumentum.” More than that, technology is the modus operandi of some that reveal itself. This disclosure has consequences for the future of liberal arts education. Liberal arts education also touches on the technological dimension of the human self and its consequences for the personal lives, family and society.
