PENGARUH METODE SILABA TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENULIS HURUF TEGAK BERSAMBUNG DI KELAS I SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

The problem in this study was that many students are less skilled in writing cursive letters. This study aims to explain the effect of the Silaba method on the skills of writing cursive letters in the first grade of elementary school at MI Muhammadiyah 09 Sekaran. This research method used an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were class I totaling 14 students. Data collection techniques and instruments used in the form of validation sheets, validity tests, observation sheets and cursive writing skills tests. The findings obtained: (1) The results of students' writing skills were more significant after treatment using the syllabus method. The average value before treatment was 54.35 and after treatment was 77.285. (2) Data analysis used Paired Sample T-Test and obtained significant results, namely 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that there is an effect of the Silaba method on the skills of writing cursive letters in the first grade of elementary school.
