PENGARUH PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS HUMANISTIK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KATOLIK SISWA

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the aplication of humanistic learning on the learning outcomes of Catholic religion in grade V at SDI Watu Benta, Manggarai district. This type of research was an experiment with a pretest-posttest control design. The sample in this study were students of class V, amounting to 54 people. The sample was selected using random sampling technique. The data collection technique used was a test. Than the data were analyzed using the t test which was preceded by the prerequisite test, namely normality and homogeneity. The results of the study show that the results of catholic religious learning of students using humanistic learning are higher than those using conventional learning.This is supported by the post-test average experimental class is 80, while the average post-test control class is 68. From the results of t-test calculations, the calculation results are obtained because t-count = 5.189> t-table = 2.007 at the significant level (?) 5%. Thus it can be concluded that the application of humanistic-based learning has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education for primary school students.
