PROGRAM LET’S READ LET’S CREATE DALAM KEMAMPUAN LITERASI BACA TULIS SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This study aims to illustrate the implementation of the Let's Read Let's Create program in enhancing the reading and writing literacy skills of third-grade elementary school students. Additionally, it seeks to assess the literacy abilities of these students in reading and writing following the program. Utilizing a qualitative approach, data was gathered from three key informants: the school principal, the third-grade teacher (Class III A), and the students in Class III A at SDN Rungkut Menanggal II Surabaya. The research findings indicate that the Let's Read Let's Create program, encompassing reading, retelling, and writing activities, has been executed proficiently. The reading and writing assessments were effectively conducted, providing insights into the enhanced literacy skills of all third-grade students after the implementation of the Let's Read Let's Create program.
