PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BLENDED LEARNING BERBANTU WHATSAPP TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI SISTEM IMUN

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning with and without using the whatsapp-assisted blended learning model, students learning outcomes with and without using the blended learning model, the effect of the blended model on students learning outcomes and students responses on learning with and without using the model. In this study, a quasi-experimental research method was used by using two class as samples, the experimental class (XI IPA 5) and the control class (XI IPA 6). The average result of teacher performance was 97% (very good) and students activitieswere 87.5% (very good). The improvement of students learning outcomes in the class without using the WhatsApp was moderate (n-gain = 0.47} and class using the the was moderate (n-gain = 0.58). The results of hypothesis testing at the 5% level are tcount (2.21) > t table (2.00) which means that the WhatsApp-assisted blended learning model has a positive and significant effect on students learning outcomes.Students responses to the blended model were 72% (high) and class without the blended model were 61% (moderate).
