HUBUNGAN KREATIVITAS MENGAJAR GURU DENGAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP IPA PADA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Teacher's teaching creativity is very important so that students are able to explore their abilities and master the concepts of the material being studied well. This research aims to determine the relationship between teacher’s teaching creativity and mastery of science concepts in fifth grade students at SDI Lidang. This quantitative research used correlation research. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling, that is, the entire population of class V students, totaling 24 people, became the research sample. The data collection technique used were the technique of distributing questionnaires and test questions. The data analysis used in this research was the correlations product moment analysis technique. Based on the correlation analysis conducted, it can be concluded that there was a relationship between teacher teaching creativity and mastery of science concepts. The relationship is quite strong and positive (the direction of the relationship is in the same direction) by looking at the r_xy value of 0.464 > r_table 0.423 at a significant level of 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (H_o) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H_a) was accepted. While the value of the coefficient of determination was 21.52% and the rest is determined by other variables not examined by the researcher. This explains that the higher the teacher's teaching creativity will also have an impact on increasing students' mastery of science concepts, conversely the lower the teacher's teaching creativity will have an impact on students' low mastery of science concepts.
