Abstract

This research examines the application of British and American English pronunciation instruction within the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classroom and its effects on students' pronunciation abilities.The study analyzes how exposure to both accents affects learners' capacity to articulate sounds accurately, identify phonological distinctions, and establish consistent pronunciation habits.Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were gathered through pre-tests, post-tests, and student interviews.The results indicate that students who are exposed to both British and American pronunciation models show enhanced phonetic awareness and adaptability in spoken English.This research underscores the significance of incorporating both varieties in pronunciation teaching to enhance students' oral proficiency and readiness for global communication
