The research method used in collecting research data is the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Delelop, Implement, and Evaluation). At this stage the researchers developed teaching materials in the form of Literacy Comic Books. The subjects in this study were students in class II UPT SD Negeri 30 Gresik with 38 students. To determine the feasibility of teaching materials, researchers used 2 material expert validators, namely class II teachers at UPT SD Negeri 30 Gresik and 2 media validators namely PGSD lecturers. In the results of this validation using aspects of learning media that meet the validity criteria, namely the validation results from the media expert validator obtaining a percentage score of 87.5% included in the very valid criteria, the results from the material expert validation with a percentage score of 95.31% included in the very criteria. valid. This study aims to explain the effect of the Silaba method on the skills of writing cursive letters in simple sentence material in the first grade of elementary school at </em><em>MI Muhammadiyah 09 Sekaran</em><em> on academic year 2020/2021. This research method used an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were class I MI Muhammadiyah 09 Sekaran totaling 14 students consisting of 7 males and 7 females. Data collection techniques and instruments used in the form of validation sheets, validity tests, observation sheets and cursive writing skills tests. Based on the analysis of research data, the findings obtained: (1) The results of students' writing skills experienced a significant increase after being given treatment using the syllabus method. This can be proven by the results of the average value before being given treatment, which is 54.35. Meanwhile, the average value after being given treatment obtained an average value of 77.285. (2) Data analysis used Paired Sample T-Test and obtained significant results, namely 0.000 &lt; 0.05. This research was conducted at the Junior High School Plus Al-Hilal Banjar city. The stage of making research instruments (questionnaire instruments and three-tier test diagnostic tests). The method that the researcher uses in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive approach. The analysis was carried out on the number and categories of diagnostic test results against research respondents with the existing factual arguments, by describing the state of the subject and material object and analyzed. Based on the results of the data and analysis in this study, it can be concluded as follows: 1) The misconceptions experienced by students are divided into three categories, namely the Darwinian Concept of Evolution, Evidence of Evolution, and Evolutionary Mechanisms. In this study, a quasi-experimental research method was used, using two class samples, namely the experimental class (XI IPA 5) and the control class (XI IPA 6). The average result of teacher performance was 97% (very good) and the average result of student activity was 87.5% (very good). The improvement of student learning outcomes in the class without using the WhatsApp-assisted blended learning model is moderate (n-gain = 0.47} and in the class using the WhatsApp-assisted blended learning is moderate (n-gain = 0.58). In reality many students were difficult in learning discipline. The class teachers did not do their tasks and roles in helping students in learning discipline. This happened at SDI Mbongos. </em><em>This type of research used a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects were four classroom teachers and 12 students at SDI Mbongos. Data collection used interview, observation, and documentation. The purpose of the study was to determine the role of classroom teachers in improving students learning discipline.</em><em>The results showed that classroom teachers at SDI Mbongos had four roles, namely teachers as educators and lectures, role models and mentors to motivate students to be disciplined in their study. These four teacher roles have succeeded in improving student’s learning discipline. Students can act and experience the concepts and facts of Mathematics. This paper is a descriptive-reflective study on the use of Diennes block media in solving a quadratic equation. Diennes blocks are geometric shapes in the form of squares with side lengths of x, rectangles of length x and width of 1, and unit squares measuring 1 × 1. Solving quadratic equations using Diennes blocks are the solution by factoring through composing activities. The existing Diennes blocks are such that they form a rectangular model as an expansion or narrowing of the size of the Diennes block with a value of x2. The results of the study show that the use of Diennes blocks is very helpful in getting the solution of a quadratic equation with various possibilities. This study was to identify the learning interests of elementary school students using the google classroom. The population were class V. Sampling by purposive sampling was class V, consisting of 20 participants from 48 students. Data collection techniques using triangulation, namely pretest, post-test, gain, N-gain instruments on cognitive learning outcomes, interview and observation. The results showed that the average pretest to the students' cognitive learning outcomes were 66.42, the post-test was 78.25; the average gain was 11.83, the N-gain was 0.57 with a percentage increase of 57%. This indicates that the use of the application was effective in improving the cognitive learning outcomes of elementary school students. Interviews and observations data showed a positive response. Apul Afralia Saina Adrianus Nabung Copyright (c) 2022 2022-10-14 2022-10-14 3 2 60 74 10.36928/jlpd.v3i2.1423 ANALISIS KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA SELAMA PANDEMI COVID-19 https://jurnal.unikastpaulus.ac.id/index.php/jlpd/article/view/1426 <p style="text-align: justify;"><em>The Covid-19 pandemic requires students to study independently without regular supervision from teachers. </em><em>T</em><em>his study aims to determine the self study of students' during the Covid-19 pandemic. </em><em>This research is a descriptive qualitative research that was conducted on the fifth and sixth grade students of SDK Tuwa, District of Pacar, West Manggarai Regency. </em><em>Data were collected through questionnaires and </em><em>interviews</em><em> which were then analyzed through data reduction procedures, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that during the Covid-19 pandemic, 65% of students in grades V and VI of the Tuwa SDK had independent learning. The self study is shown in the following aspects: free of responsibility, progressive and tenacious, initiative and creative, self-control and self-</em><em>steadiness</em><em> in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of smartphone use on the character of elementary school-aged children in Longgo, Pong Leko Village, Ruteng District, Manggarai Regency. </em><em>This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were the parents of elementary school-aged children in Longgo, Pong Leko Village. The data collection technique in this study was an interview with an interview guide as a research instrument. The data were analyzed using the following procedures: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. </em><em>The results of this study indicate that the use of smartphones for elementary school age children in Longgo, Ruteng District has a significant influence on changes in children's character such as children being alone in their rooms more often, being indifferent, less sensitive to the surrounding environment and less communicative with others.</em></p> Heronimus E. However, this effort has not accompanied the formulation of a Pancasila teacher profile as a shield for Pancasila students. This paper aims to formulate a Pancasila teacher profile that focuses on the aspects of multiculturalism and independent learning. For this reason, the authors conducted a literature study using reading and note-taking techniques combined with critical compilation techniques. That is why, the author reads and records comments from various relevant literature. Views from various sources are compiled and criticized according to the author's considerations. The results of the study found that Pancasila teachers were at least a type of teacher who at a minimum was independent and had a global outlook and a soul according to Pancasila values. From the aspect of multiculturalism, Pancasila teachers value diversity in carrying out their responsibilities.
