BENTUK DAN MAKNA SETSUBIJI -SA DAN -MI PADA KANJOU-KEIYOUSHI

Abstract

This research aims to explain the structure and meaning of suffix -sa and -mi in emotive adjectives. This research is a descriptive qualitative study by collecting data using reading and noting method. The data of this research is sentences which contain suffix -sa and -mi attached in emotive adjectives. The sources used in this research are Itsuka Nemuri ni Tsuku Hi novel by Inujun and yourei.jp Japanese website. The result of research shows that suffix -sa and -mi kanjoukeiyoushi found attached in tanjun-keiyoushi (simple adjective), hanpuku-keiyoushi (iterative adjective), dan fukugoukeiyoushi (compound adjective). The meaning of suffix -sa kanjou-keiyoushi express about condition, nature, and degree. While suffix -mi only express about condition.
