Background: Every individual has experienced being stresed or facing tension, commonly known as stres. Stres is an inseparable part of human life, and individuals are constantly confronted with situations that induce tension. The way individuals cope with stres can vary from one person to another. These differences may be influenced by life experiences, encountered problems, personality, and the surrounding environmental conditions.
Objective: The aim of this writing is to provide an overview of stres in early adulthood, the factors influencing stres, and the resulting impacts of stres.
Method: The method employed in writing this article is Literature Review, involving the search and analysis of several articles through platforms such as Google Scholar and ResearchGate. The process includes the following Steps: article search, article review, literature comparison, impact identification, and solution search.
Results: Stres classification can be categorized into three levels, namely mild stres, moderate stres and severe stres. Factors that trigger stres in early adulthood include social pressure, interpersonal conflict, and academic problems. The impact of stres in early adulthood is difficulty concentrating, experiencing high levels of anxiety, drug and alcohol use, and individuals who experience stres tend to have low self-esteem.
Conclusion: Based on the identification of stres impacts in early adulthood, it can be concluded that stres can be prevented through the consumption of healthy and nutritious food, engaging in music therapy, and alternative therapies such as meditation.
