This nutritional problem, in particular, is stunted not only by the health sector but also by multisector
problems. The transformation of the nutrition problem approach which was originally
carried out by each stakeholder was changed to an approach that allowed the stakeholders to
work together through a multi stakeholder platform using transparent work principles because
Stunting was caused by multi-dimensional factors and not only caused by malnutrition factors
experienced by pregnant women and children under five. The most decisive intervention to be
able to reduce the stunting prevalence is therefore it needs to be done on the First 1,000 Days of
Life (HPK) of children under five.
Stunting is caused by several factors, namely (1) Poor parenting practices, (2) Limited health
services (3) Lack of household / family access to nutritious food, (4) Lack of access to clean water
and sanitation, (5) consumption and culture, (6) early marriage, and (7) incest marriage.
Prevention of stunting can be done with specific nutritional interventions, namely the fulfillment
of nutrition of pregnant women, exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months, PAUD supplementary
food, handling of adolescent girls' health and sensitive nutrition interventions that provide and
ensure access to clean water, provision of sanitation (healthy latrines), increase resilience food
and nutrition, providing access to health services & family planning (KB), implementing clean
and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) in the household, providing universal delivery guarantees
(Jampersal), providing parental education to parents, providing early childhood education (
PAUD) Universal, provides community nutrition education, provides sexual & reproductive
health education, and nutrition for adolescents, provides assistance and social security for poor
families.
