Peranan Bimbingan dalam Keluarga terhadap Pembentukan Kepribadian pada Anak Usia 6-8 Tahun di Desa Muara Parlampungan Kecamatan Batang Natal Kabupaten Mandailing Natal

Abstract

The background of the problem in this research is that the family is the main basis for social interaction and recognizing the behaviors of other people. The family is also the initial milestone in the introduction of community cultures where family members learn about the personality and nature of others outside of themselves. The role of parents in guiding their children to become children who have a good personality by teaching them at a young age, advising when children make mistakes, supervising children properly and correctly, such as guiding in the right direction so that children do not fall into the wrong path. So the role of parental guidance at the time of forming the child's personality is very important for the future of his personality. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, that is, research that seeks to describe the current problem solving based on data. The research subjects are families (parents) who have children aged 6-8 years in Muara Parlampungan village as primary data, while the secondary data are the village head and staff related to the research title. Data collection techniques by means of observation and interviews. Data processing and analysis techniques use data classification, data reduction, data description, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study are as follows: First, the role of guidance carried out by families in the formation of children's personalities in Muara Parlampungan village has been carried out by families or especially parents to children including advice, example, habituation, and supervision. Second, the factors that influence the formation of children's personality in Muara Parlampungan village are internal and external factors. Internal factors are factors that exist within the child or are inherited from parents, while external factors include family factors, peers, and intelligence.
