PENILAIAN PERKEMBANGAN ANAK USIA DINI DI TK DHARMA WANITA DAN TK NEGERI MANO

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the ability of PAUD teachers in compiling, assessing and processing data on early childhood development. Child development data is obtained from the appropriateness of the assessment tools used, the implementation of the appraisal and the processing of appraisal data that is adequate and covers all aspects of child development. The research was conducted at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten and Mano State Kindergarten. The study focused on the ability of teachers to assess child development and the ability of teachers to process assessment data to be a report on the assessment of children's development. Data collection techniques used are using interview, observation and documentation techniques.

Research data shows that the ability of teachers to assess and process assessment data is very lacking. The assessment format arranged is not in accordance with the learning plan used and is not in accordance with the child's developmental age. Assessment emphasizes the assessment of children's work but is not processed properly. So, it can be concluded that the developmental assessment made by the teacher cannot be used to be a measure of children's development achievement.
