Abstract

Understanding language and vocabulary is an important foundation in the language development of elementary school children. The ability to understand language and vocabulary well will help children communicate, learn and understand information. Conventional learning approaches that are often used in schools are sometimes considered boring and less interesting for elementary school children. This can cause children to be less motivated to learn and unable to achieve optimal learning outcomes. A game-based learning approach offers a solution to overcome these problems. Games can be an interesting and fun learning media for elementary school children.
