Learning media is a tool that teachers use when teaching to help clarify the subjects being taught to students, and prevent verbalism from occurring in students. Teaching that uses a lot of verbalism will of course be boring, on the other hand, teaching will be more interesting if students are happy in learning or happy because they feel interested and understand the lesson they receive. In this way learning activities will be more effective. The aim of carrying out this research is to find out and describe: (1) To find out whether audio visual learning media can improve the learning outcomes of social studies material from ASEAN countries for grade VI elementary school students, (2) To find out how the results of improving learning social studies material from ASEAN countries by using audio visual learning media for class VI elementary school students. The subjects in this research were 25 grade VI elementary school students at SDN Tegalrejo III, Merakurak District. All students get the same actions. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative data analysis in the form of student learning achievement figures (including determining class averages, individual learning completeness and classical learning completeness from test results) which are also described in words. The results of this research show an increase in social studies learning outcomes for ASEAN countries through audio-visual learning media. Namely, in cycle I the average learning outcome was 71.80 with the number of students completing learning 13 students out of 25 students with a completion percentage of 52%, while in cycle II the average learning outcome was 83.40 with a total of 25 students out of 25 students with the percentage 100%.
